According to Auto Express, the Japanese manufacturer's new small car, named the Justy, has just gone on sale with a price tag of £8,495.
However, the magazine adds that the car will be economical, ecologically sound and comes with a number of features to accompany its five-year manufacturer's warranty, which also covers 60,000 miles of use.
Subaru's latest entry into the supermini sector has been released with a price that could satisfy new car finance customers.
It is reported that the car is both "frugal and clean" offering 56.5mpg and putting out around 118g/km of CO2 emissions, which may be of interest to car loans customers looking to trade-in for a more environmentally friendly vehicle.
The Justy also comes with ABS stability control, mp3 connectivity, Isofix child seat, rear parking sensors and curtain airbags.
Subaru's Justy has been in production since 1984 and has been available in three-door and five-door hatchback versions.
