Hyundai Motor India Ltd. plans to launch LPG-run cars hoping these will be in demand following an imminent hike in petrol prices.

Hyundai will launch variants of Santro, Getz and Accent in the next two months. This follows Tata Motors' Indica V2 Xeta LPG and Maruti 800 LPG variant which were launched last month.

The LPG variants will cost around Rs. 20,000-25,000 more than the petrol-run models and will be factory fitted.

The Company already offers a CNG variant of its flagship Santro.
