Car loans customers could consider US saloon

Earlier this month the Times highlighted the Chrysler Crossfire as another good option for those looking for a used car.

Used car finance customers looking to purchase a luxury saloon may be interested to know that the Chrysler 300C is currently a solid purchase, according to the Times.

The car, which is available with a 3.5 litre V6 petrol engine on the entry-level model, has been singled out by the newspaper's motoring columnist Jason Dawe as being ahead of many of its peers in terms of performance and value.

He states that although it is unusual for an American car to crack the UK market, the 300C has achieved this and that "used examples are holding their value better than Mercedes, BMWs and Audis".

Chrysler also offers the car in a 5.7-litre V8 version and a 6.1 litre V8 SRT8 model that the newspaper notes delivers around 425bhp.

"Performance like that puts the SRT head to head with some elite competition ... but the Chrysler SRT8 delivers that performance at a very reasonable price," he concludes.
