The magazine highlighted Subaru's latest Impreza hatchback, the WRX, which is now available with £3,000 off its original list price of £19,995 and states that in the new year Toyota is also expected to make some special offers available on its RAV4, Aygo and Yaris models.

A new report from a UK consumer watchdog has highlighted a number of new and used vehicles which could be of interest to those with approved car finance.

Which? has selected models from Subaru, Toyota, Vauxhall and BMW as great bargains for car loans customers who may be looking to take advantage of new year sales and special offers.

It is noted that Vauxhall has suggested that it will soon release an improved version of its Agila which will offer a revised CO2 emission level of 120g/km and that BMWs X6 series will also widen its range for those looking for a more powerful new vehicle.

Earlier this month, classicdriver.co.uk reported that the new BMW X6 xDrive50i will be the "most powerful production model BMW has ever produced".
